The NEST team have just returned from a weekend at the Martial Arts Show held at the NEC in Birmingham and we would like to thank all our clients who took time out to come and see us there on the NEST stand. It was great to have the opportunity to talk to clients about our new technological developments which we have designed to help school owners to run, manage and ultimately grow their operation.

I am also delighted to say that at the show we noted a great sense of optimism for continued growth in our industry. This view is also backed up by the numbers we have seen as we have recorded a 6.2% increase in annualised gross billing registered by clients in the period January to April.
If you are to benefit from yet another great year, and the first four months indicate you can, it will be vital that you maintain momentum in the acquisition of students alongside your summer retention strategies.

Getting and keeping students remains the key element of success in any Martial Arts business and during this summer we will have the sporting frenzy that is the 2012 Olympics. This will heighten the value of sporting activities in everyone’s mind; and whilst I know that there are many restrictions on advertising which prevent association with the games, the public consciousness will be alerted to the opportunities you can offer to all age groups and children in particular.
